Being a college graduate is an accomplishment so incredible, mere words cannot begin to describe it. Overcoming such great obstacles to be here was instrumental in creating the person and artist I am today. Therefore, I felt it necessary to document the most significant of these events using tangible objects and their environments to create a metaphor for the grand narrative. I wanted to show my viewers my past and present to demonstrate that you don’t have to be a victim of your environment. I hope after seeing this collection of work, you are inspired to change your life for the better as I have.
